I've seen McGuinn and my friend about 10X, he always puts on a great show. The 1st time I saw him was in '79. He and Gene Clark warmed up for the NRPS at the caldarone in Hempstead. The last time I saw him was at John Harms with Tony Trischka 2 years ago. I'm gonna catch him the next time he plays on the island. I saw McGuinn, Clark and Hillman twice. The 1st time was before they put out their CD so they did mostly Byrds tunes. Pappa John Creech warmed up. It was a killer show.
