OK then, the billion shares they were planning on using to buy CPQ. Wasted cash or wasted dilution - both suck.

Please reread my post. I am not saying that, I am quoting someone else saying that.

Someone else (who I quoted) said: "I'd rather see HP take the billions they were planning on using to buy CPQ, and spend it instead"

I said: You of course know it is a stock deal, not a cash purchase, the only cash will be the breakup fee, if any.

You said: No billions involved...just a transfer of paper call stock..

btw, what is "call stock"?
