I am not underestimating it. Stance is partially short and expecting a pop, but we've both commented on the stupidity of getting cute at these levels.

Pop quiz from the Lassie Is Barking desk:
When was the last time the S&P had 5 down days in a row?

We gt a chart-chaser pause at the COMPX lower wedge line (the UT line out of Sep lows) but are now pressing on. Ditto with XMI and the big shelf. This should bring out some selling now.

The most bearish count (and it continues to be only an alternate for me) is that we are in 3 of 3 now.

For others:
It's quite obvious on any intraday chart. Pull up a 30min NASDAQ chart... you'll see an initial decline off the top, then a sideways up/down/up for a/b/c, followed by a small leg down late yesterday (1 of 3), this morning's bounce (2 of 3), and now more down (3 of 3).
