I now have two desk tops and had two additional laptops in the past 15 years, all Presario's... I gave one laptop to my sister-in-law and one laptop to my mother-in-law... my mother-in-law is 85 years old and she loves computer games.....<g>

The problem of mb memory leakage is solved!!!!! First, I installed 387 mb of memory... then, I downloaded the upgraded Internet Explorer 6... I then downloaded McAfee Online Active virus protection and did a virus scan... it scanned 33,616 files and found no viruses... I learned I had absolutely no virus protection even though I'm on broadband cable and had a McAfee icon on my desk top, I was sooooo lucky... apparently, the older version of Internet Explorer was the cause of the memory leak... now, my PC is humming and smiling at me... no leakage and my system resources are at 78% to 88% free most all the time.....

Thanks for all your great suggestions, I wanted to pass along the results of the diagnostics.....

Best Regards,
