What I mean was when the original presentation was made by Microsoft in May (I think) of last year, the slides for the processor talked about a 200MHz FSB and a 64k L2 cache. It was at that presentation that it was announced that Intel had one the contract.

This was when we got the first validation about the specs for the Duron, which wasn't announced until June. Apparently they didn't have time to change the slides after the decision was made. Considering how long it takes to change a Power Point slide, it tells me that the decision to go with Intel was a last minute type of thing. Of course, you are free to believe otherwise...
