Osama Bin Laden and the members of his Al-Qaeda network are still holed up in Tora Bora mountains and have not fled to Pakistan two high-level US officials said on Thursday.

"He is almost certainly cornered in this region with other members of his Al Qaeda network and has not fled to Pakistan," the officials told the paper. "I'm sure that he's there," one of them, a defence official, said. He added, "If there was any indication that he wasn't there, we'd know." That statement was confirmed by a second high-level government source.
