combjelly: Ok, that being the case, there are some 2 million chips missing, maybe more. Where are they? As someone else stated, AMD may well have limited the number of wafer starts (i.e. limited the ramp) expecting lower demand. Why install and calibrate a bunch of equipment for .18µm production when you're going to switch it over to .13µm in a matter of months? I would actually assume that AMD has stopped ramping .18µm completely, with all new lines coming online at Dresden being .13µm. -fyo
