xcr.. take a look at HYGS for an inexpensive play..as opposed to SIMG. It's not DVD related but it has been moving nicely is recent sessions.

I don't expect it to fill that gap-up back in October but there are some fillable gaps in the past month+ that I would like to see for adding to my position. I like this one for the longer term.

They snagged a contract with GM recently:

Hydrogenics and GM Sign Contract for Engineering Support Services
TORONTO, Dec. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Hydrogenics Corporation (Nasdaq: HYGS - news; TSE: HYG - news), a leading designer and manufacturer of proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cell systems, today announced that it has signed a contract to supply General Motors with engineering support and related services at a GM fuel cell research facility in Honeyoye Falls, NY.

To support this initiative, Hydrogenics has agreed to hire fifty-five employees currently working at this facility under three separate engineering contract firms through GM. Effective today these 55 engineers, technicians, and administrative staff will become full-time Hydrogenics' employees. They will continue working at the GM facility. This effectively increases Hydrogenics' headcount by almost 50 percent bringing the total number of employees of the company to 167.

``We are excited to welcome such a highly skilled workforce to the Hydrogenics team and believe this new collection of expertise has the potential to build significant momentum and synergies in our corporate development'', said Pierre Rivard, President and CEO of Hydrogenics. ``This contract is a further indication of the extent and strength of the GM-Hydrogenics alliance. We look forward to contributing to GM's research and development thrust in a meaningful and encompassing manner with the end goal of accelerating our joint commercialization efforts.''

In October Hydrogenics and GM formed a strategic alliance to accelerate the commercialization of fuel cell technology, with GM acquiring a 24 percent stake in Hydrogenics.

On another note DVD related, HLIT is looking very good lately. Their aquisiton of CUBE's Divicom really paid off IMO.

SIMG's recent gap at 3.25 is a possible target... keeping an eye on it for now.
