Isn't that the goal? AMD is NOT Intel. AMD would like to improve as a company. It's going to have to follow the Intel/IBM model of establishing standards to get respect.

Yep - that's why the Droids have their knickers in a knot.

Oh - since AMD's Hamster has slipped yet another 3 months - into Q4 2002 - AMD is a YEAR AWAY from fielding an HT implementation
