the venality and corruption of Republicans
They are not all corrupt. It just seems that the corrupt Republicans have taken control of the party of late. The corrupt like DeLay and Rumsfeld, and the stupid like our former President's son.

I think your comment on paranoia was very perceptive. That student newspaper article was a beautiful piece of paranid reasoning- -one unproven supposition leading to the next.
