This is not apples and oranges but they certainly are....

Different kinds of apples

IDTI is not now as oversold as it was yesterday but it is still oversold on a short term technical basis.

I agree with your observations on the semiconductors as a whole. In fact I will take it further and state that most semiconductors are a lot closer to being overbought rather than oversold. The semiconductor index has held above its 200 Day MVA now four days in a row. This is very positive indicating that the SOX may be able to continue its upward trend despite the fact that every semiconductor you can name is overvalued based on next year's earnings expectations.

Time will tell but if we have seen the bottom then expectations will rise. I'm going to let you all have the thread back to yourselves.

I took my profits from IDTI this time around on Friday. I will be hoping to reenter again lower.
