People want to be left alone, unless there is a compelling reason to boss them around. So far, I have not heard a good reason......

Are we becoming a nation of Seventh Day Adventists, unable to celebrate anything - soon, not even birthdays. Not that there's anything wrong with SEventh Day Adventists, except I I don't want to be forced to become one. For, to my mind, NOT celebrating Christmas is politically incorrect because it upholds a specific religious dogma of not recognizing holidays. If the White House has Christmas trees and Time Square has a Big tree, why can't the rest of us merrily enjoy the Christmas season or Hannukah or whatever and be free from censorship of expressing good will toward one another?
