Thx for the info, Haim. I was thinking of a later UN resolution on Israel's borders, because I'm thinking it will take many nations recognizing Israel's borders, not just the US. Anyway, what do you think should be done with all the Palestinians that currently reside in West Bank and Gaza if Israel wants them out?

I personally don't understand all the fighting. It would be like the people of Texas saying to people in New Mexico, "get out, we want to annex New Mexico and make it Texas." Then the New Mexicans would start suicide bombing the Texans. I mean what's the point? If everyone has the same economic and life opportunities in a small region, why bother with worrying about borders? Economics is the solution. Forget about fighting for borders. Rather establish economic and civil progress in those lands and watch how quickly all these problems get diffused.
