"As far as rivalries go, few are as intense as that between AMD and Intel. Intel has tried to crush AMD for years, and Jerry Sanders would like nothing better than to take down Intel. The companies’ shareholders are militant as well, taking arguments on investment boards well into the night, incessantly exchanging arguments as well as insults."

Well I wouldn't know about the investment boards<G>, but I don't think it really goes both ways quite like you say. Sure, Intel doesn't like AMD but for Intel it's business, for Jerry it's personal. Who was the Sicko, Ahab or Moby Dick? Moby Dick was just being a whale.

Z, Re: "The companies’ shareholders are militant as well, taking arguments on investment boards well into the night, incessantly exchanging arguments as well as insults." Sounds about right, doesn't it?

Some people more than others, to be sure.

I'm sure you could write a number of papers using this forum as a setting. The range of disciplines would be staggering, as well - engineering, manufacturing, finance, economics, psychology, corporate business, ethics, and I'm sure many others. You'd never have to worry about another essay topic for as long as you go to school.
