Digging out worthy news items - as well as market facts and information that have largely escaped public attention - are among the skills this thread is know for.

Blast wave from Enron disaster continuing to take it's toll. So far, looks like we've just scratched the surface of that enormous and complex trading book. Almost all we've heard to date is denial of significant exposure from a long list of firms. But (with the possible the exception of the mother lode of derivative de jour Morgan/Chase) the ones that got really hammered are yet to be heard from. Bet some big bomb shells gonna hit after the Holidays as we move into next year.
