Exactly. Also, it might be useful to keep in mind any weakness between now and year end constitutes what I'd like to call a "negative seasonal divergence" as this period usually sees the markets flat to mildly positive.

Maybe the 12/14 cycle date Paul Shread and I were talking last wknd will come in as a ST low followed by some counter-trend bounce extending into early Jan. No table pounding prediction here. Just think we should remain flexible in our outlook. Year end tape (per an earlier post) is repleat with powerful cross currents from mega buck institutions jockeying to spruce up their year end portfolio holding before "the picture gets taken"<g>.
