Unusually Balanced For Me – Didn’t You Think? <gg>

Sorry to hear about the rug.

I generally like dogs. We have two Bullmastiffs - very big and very sweet. It does seem that though that dogs have a the tendency to cause a reasonable amount of damage to household artifacts in the process of going about their ordinary acts of daily living.

I think there is an old proverb, I'm taking a bit of liberty in the translation, to the effect that "Man who has dog and Kazakh should not be suprised to find dog puke on the Kazakh".

Actually there is a lot of wisdom in that proverb, but I don't know that this is the appropriate forum to discuss it. Allan should be showing up soon and we don't want to get banned or something.

I can't speak specifically to your carpet and dog puke, but I have generally found that the qualities which have enabled them to be around and still attractive after hundreds of years tend to make them a bit more resilient than I would have thought. I hope that there won't be any permanent damage.
