BTW. CIEN "profit" of .05 excludes the following. Deferred stock compensation charges, payroll taxes on stock option exercises, goodwill impairment charges, huh? Restructuring charges, amortization of intangibles and goodwill. When included, the loss was $1.8 bln. or $5.51 per diluted share. I think Josef Straus is their advisor.
