moufassa7: Argentina is "chicken feed" compared to the Japanese bank problem. Argentina debt default is widely anticipated and is already "baked in the cake". Ironically, the collapse of the Japanese banking sector, if it occurs, would be a huge positive for the US and world economy long term. It would accomplish what the inept Japanese governments have been unable and/or unwilling to do over the past 15 years and would be the start of an economic recovery in Japan.
