On BRCM all the way , PMCS , and JNPR ...insider selling in BRCM and selling all the way down from 50's on that one ... Kept telling people last week about Quest's update today , and it wasn't going to be pretty ....they threw in the towel on Quest last earns report a few weeks ago ...did they expect a miracle to happen today ? And CIEN <ggg> JNPR was bound to correct along with CIEN...one time I wished I'd hit EXTR too. Just did some FFIV short at 28.40 on a little squeeze , some NTAP at $23..but major plays all played out this am . Very happy when a plan comes together! ;-) Susie gave a great alert on CMVT , but didn't do YHOO with me yesterday at $19.25 or AMZN . She did great on ISSX on the TA bounce , but would have made a wonderful round-trip short too. YHOO was really fun . JNPR/BRCM was major $$$$ though. People have to stay alert to this warnings season and guidances . Quest was sort of a given...one of the largest broadband providers in the world , sort of an important CC <gg> Susie wished she bopped Amazon now ....MACR was a disaster waiting to happen , did you see how ADBE was trading ? Major disappointments are very likely going forward, they got way ahead of themselves on these valuations (heard that before) Unemployment will continue to rise cause we have been so successful at productivity and that leads to job losses , combined with non-existent profits and little saving on the part of the consumer....well it'll all be OK if we just bury oyr heads in X-boxes and make believe it's not happening ! (Don't think this year we'll " all be going to Disney Land "....but Laguna Beach would be nice ) Lot's of work ahead for this economy...and country . Lot's riding on Asian spending , but will they have the cash ?
