Bill,
Hi!!

Historically President's have been popular during conflicts such as this...Now I believe it will be hard to change people's perception that Bush isn't a leader...During the last election it was the #1 aim of the Democratic Party to paint Bush as not being capable of leading us in foreign affairs since he didn't have the experience or abilities...Even one Democratic spokesperson gave him credit and admitted that Texas surely wasn't a small job for him leading them during the 90's...Not surprisingly I believe that this is why Hillary looked "so cheerful" on camera during that first joint session following 9/11... :o) Frankly, if I were Schumer I'd be furious with her forever...He will be forever the guy in my mind standing next to her!! Even though he was clapping and visibly proud to be an American his reputation may be tarnished as someone "holding hands with her"...you know what your momma told you about who you associate with? :O) As for GWB...What originally drew my attention to his leadership abilities were the numerous Texans' that I met in Austin/DELLheads who told me of the Democrats that were helping GWB become President...Finally, this country may have a leader who truly does make an attempt to unify parties...At this time in history we do need a leader who'll fight for the freedoms we all took for granted..

Best, Kemble

Oldtrader,

Re: "Where have all the NY liberals gone on this thread?"

democrats.com

From 12/9-12/12 they were most likely at one of these events. What a moronic use of freedom of speech, especially in these times when there can't be enough unity and patriotism.

I first became aware of these events listening to ultra -left talk show host Lynn Samuels on WABC New York. The same left "think tank" sent out mass mails to over 60 liberal talk show hosts complaining that the "stolen election" issues was not getting enough air time. They need to have their balls clamped in a vise and reminded that the United States of America is presently in a war fighting to make their lives more safe.

Cheers,
kaka
