SB, bought San Diego based OVRL today at $8.50 ps. Someone told me they won't go busto.;) Overland Data designs, develops, manufactures, markets and supports magnetic tape data storage systems usedby businesses for high performance network backup, archival solutions and data interchange. For the 9 months ended 3/31/01, sales rose 40% to $118.3M. Net income totaled $4M, up from $1.8M. Revenues reflect increased sales to Compaq. Earnings also benefitted from higher royalty income, decreased material costs and the economies of scale.
