Bin Laden 'flees and sends his son instead'
OSAMA BIN LADEN left the besieged Tora Bora base for Pakistan 10 days ago with the help of local tribesmen, one of his senior and most trusted aides said yesterday.
Several days later, he said, bin Laden sent a replacement; his married 19-year-old son Salah Uddin, who is now the only bin Laden family member inside Tora Bora.
