It's just so ironic and part and parcel of my 'luck' lately. I was planning to sell FAX this week and buy FAP (Canuck equivalent) anyway. Now I'll just get a few less shares of FAP. Fap pays a bit less than FAX though before the coming adjustment. I didn't realise that I'd get dinged with a 'NON resident' withholding tax on FAX. I could have bought FAP to begin with but didn't realise that. Same guys, pretty well same portfolio, same idea, but no NR tax on me. Learn and live...
Actually the reduction brings FAX and FAP closely in line payout wise.There was about a 2% differential with FAP lower.
