Jim Cash: Frankly, this year has been so strange, I have no clue as to whether we get December tax loss selling. I think the difficult thing is for each investor to decide whether we are in an ongoing bear market or whether 9/21 represented the lows (and end) of the bear market, with the most recent rally representing an early bull market.

FWIW, Don Hays has been "pounding the table" since 9/21 that this is indeed an early bull market that has 12-18 months of "legs". I think the data coming out is still mixed, but the headline employment numbers (layoffs) are lagging rather than forward indicators.
