Give it some time Zeev. Those drops tend to accelerate as we go along. Look at the Aug/Sep drop. It's like stepping on the gas.

Actually, it is possible we get a lower close today than tomorrow, even if we have a local low tomorrow. Short covering going into the weekend ought to get us up from any lows tomorrow.

Zeev: Touche!! I should have known better -- CIEN's earnings report before the bell was a given. I STILL do not see a "traditional" retest of the 9/21 lows; then again, from what I gather, neither do you. I think this will be a 10-15% correction in an early bull market rather than a final retest in an ongoing bear market. Other opinions and comments are welcomed.
