i personally hold the timber REIT PCL, which is the second largest land owner in the US. it also owns a fair chunk of New Zealand's forests. pays an 8% yield too...
the stock has had a tendency in the past to occasionally visit the 22 - 23 level, where it is invariably a buy.
but i've recently actually paid even 28 and a few for it, as it didn't want to come down. kept some powder dry though, just in case it DOES come down again. it's not exactly an exorbitantly exciting investment, but with its high and dependable yield and the timberland it owns one sleeps better than owners of Ciena or Cisco, that much is certain.
