Back in the pre-copper days the Intellabees were adamant that the copper process would not work because it would just contaminate the other stages of the process. AMDs answer was their new pod-based process to reduce the exposure. Does Intel have the same pod-based equipment as AMD installed at fab 30 or have they left themselves exposed to copper contamination problems?
