I received the following news alert today. Gum Tech's new President and CEO, Carl Johnson, bought 1,000 shares of GUMM on the open market in November. It isn't a big purchase, but it is the first open market purchase of Gum Tech's stock by any officer or director going back to at least 1999. That's as far back as the data goes that I can find on the Internet. Mr. Johnson also has options on GUMM that he has to pay for if he wants to exercise them. Even though this isn't a large purchase, it is still a vote of confidence in the company's stock.
