I haven't seen NDX futures go up more than 16 pts since 4pm. There seems to be a lot of confusion with how much the futures are up or down by at any point. For clarification, I will try to remember to post absolute numbers when discussing futures.

Right now, I have 1616.75, compared with 1604.75 at 4pm.

Good grief, what on earth happened to the futures tonight? I looked a bit ago, and the NDX was up 22 points (now 19).
After the close, they were down 4, then up 4-5, now this!

I was on the Oracle Conference call.
As their conference call went on, Oracle started to move up...from being down afterhours to going positive versus the 4pm close.
That put the futures into slightly positive territory; IMHO, Oracle was the reason for this small move higher.

Then the Bin Laden story came out and they went up a lot more.

That is the way I saw it unfold.

JMHO.
