spoiled rich kids

Ahh, the sour grape whining of a CPQ shareholder.

I will propose to the BOD

Why should they listen to you, but not all the existing shareholders?

If by some remote chance this deal should fail

Remote? LOL

if they got on board with this deal and backed the BOD, (that they helped appoint) that HWP stock would start heading North.

Mr. Market has spoken. He panned the deal when it was announced. Since doubts arose about the deal, the stock has risen.

RE

Either way the foundation should stick to being a foundation and leave the business part to those that are used to working for a living.

So I take it you don't understand or appreciate how capitalism works? The foundations are acting in what they think is their best interest just as I will do when I vote on the proposal. I just wish I had as many shares as they do and I appreciate them taking the matter seriously enough to hire outside consultants to review the issue as I sure can't afford to do that.
