10:18 ET Rational Sftwr (RATL) 21.30 -0.99: Hearing that stock is under pressure due to comments from SG Cowen that Microsoft's (MSFT) .NET tools will probably ship in February instead of December, and that RATL will therefore not benefit from .NET until two qtrs after shipment, or calendar Q3. Cowen believes that current qtr for RATL is tracking in-line.
