Senator Leahy did not "deep-six" a public, democratic debate on the Senate floor which was to provide guidance and information to the Judge for the settlement issues. It appears MSFT Schills did. IMHO

Microsoft even gave this guy some, but it was probably another bad investment.

Not to worry; MSFT's Creative Accounting departments no doubt already wrote it off as a one-time loss. Investors in our nation's administration and legislature expect results for their money! So I'm sure they haven't written off their contributions to Dubya or Byrd.
