AMD's yields at Fab30 are horrible and foundry services aren't likely to be any better (in fact, they may be worse).

If AMD goes to a foundry there's no way the foundry will push those transistors the way AMD is. Foundries go for pure yield and not binsplit. So AMD may see much better yield from an outside source but they'll be slower parts.
