Gordon, about 10 quarters if nothing changes. After that, they would have to borrow. You probably missed the fact than in the 1 year where AMD had a better CPU offering than Intel they made more money than in the previous 4-5 years and thet actually put aside over $1B. As you can see, all it takes is one good year to supply AMD with enough $$$ to survive I would not call them AMDefunct. The real question is can they make enough $$$ to stay competitive in the long term? My answer to that is that they seem to be doing ok, and if they manage to get the Hammer out in 2002 they will be fine for a long, long time.
