Calpine (CPN) 13.41 -2.64 (-16.5%): -- Update -- Fitch places co's 'BBB' rating of the senior unsecured debt on Ratings Watch Negative; says while co's operating fundamentals are sound, the financial profile is aggressive, and is not consistent with the current mkt environment. Based on co's strong asset portfolio and long-term output contracts, thinks that if rating were changed, most likely outcome would be 'BB+' or 'BB.'
