Since the trading was unregulated and insiders traded, and they cooked the books by not
indicating that there was debt, it may take awhile to sort if all out, if they are able to figure it
all out.
It is difficult NOT to believe that money isn't stashed in an offshore tax haven.

Initially, Treasure Secretary, Paul H. O'Neill wouldn't investigate these tax havens. Recently,
I read he claims he will now look into them but it will take a couple of years to do so. SO
Americans and others who reside in the States will have two years to find another tax haven
to stash their extra cash and avoid paying taxes on it.

There is a huge amount of money stashed in these offshore accounts.
I do not recall the amount, but it is larger than you might
think. The amount was enough to make a difference to the amount of money
we have available for projects that would help the Americans who actually pay taxes.

The Enron scandal is big! The press said Enron was the biggest scandal since Teapot Dome.
