A gap-up for the doji is part of the definition. I was really only looking at the trendline break in the article, and the trend channel on the chart.

Isn't today or Monday the Bradley turn date?

Justa, the August 2 COMPX evening star was also imperfect, but seemed to work OK.

I think the evening stars we had may-aug were imperfect if memory serves.
