Michael,

Just for laughs, Irell & Manella, Microsoft, Preston/Gates, US Copyright Office, US Court of Appeals, US District Court, US Senate apparently all had speakers at the Twelth Annual Seattle Conference on Computer Law two weeks ago. Yawn... and someone said Paul Allen was or still is a client of Irell & Manella; would have to check this out though.

Irell & Manella's topic: "Current U.S. standards and best practices for privacy policies; the insidious nature of private data collection..."

Wonder how that related to Passport and .NET?

Icing on the cake of course would be:

"The Hon. Maria Cantwell <or senior aide>"
