In some of the early press releases it was stated that the Foundations were informed of what the intention of the BOD was. In Fact when HWP made their first offer to CPQ in July, the Foundations had to know of these intentions and never denied that they were not informed.

How stupid do you think these foundation people are? Are they all mushrooms? If their clans (Hewlett's and Packard's are too lazy as to pay attention to their income stream why take their advice on anything except "how to spend money".

If these people are too lazy to attend board meeting and rather go bowling and yachting, why listen to them?
