Yep, shorts were covering and taking a profit prior to the weekend.
Longs never get to take a Friday profit because the stock only knows how to go south.

If you believe it spiked at the end of the day because hoards of investors came in to buy it up in anticipation of good news about to break, well then I've got truckload of hula-hoops and smokeless ashtrays that you may be interested in purchasing.
