Intel preparing final assault on Bin Sanders' caves

"Intel has certainly shown itself capable of intervening if any of its local representatives actually let any real information slip out. As long as they keep blasting out the same old "we will bury you" blather, apparently all is cool. "

Intel does less "we will bury you" talking than Sanders does (about Intel), what with his talk about Intel as the Great Satan and all.

Intel's strategy is not to _talk_ about burying AMD, but to efficiently do so.

This is not a business for the faint-hearted, and Intel is now preparing for the series of price cuts which will push AMD so deeply into the red that it won't be able to afford office supplies, let alone to build the series of fabs which it desperately needs to compete with Intel, Via, TSMC, and others.

All part of the long-range CRUSH program.
