Technically being down on heavy volume leads to serval weeks of being weak, JNPR needs to put in a bottom. I like to say that bottoms are built on time not price. No opinion about JNPR short term but technically the bottom has not been placed, more drifting down would be expected over the next couple of weeks.

No real hard news on JNPR to justify this kind of decline.

I suppose Wall Street considers Juniper guilty by association.

PS: Once the big boyz' short positions are closed next week, the stock will rebound - JMHO.

BTW, I wanted to get back to you...

Fundamentally, JNPR bought Pacific Silicon 3 weeks ago. Great acquisition.

It was Pac Broadband, not Pac. Silicon.

SUNNYVALE, Calif. (CBS.MW) - Internet router maker Juniper Networks signed a definitive agreement Monday to acquire privately held Pacific Broadband Communications for $200 million in stock.
Based in San Jose, Pacific Broadband develops cable modem systems that enable cable operators to deliver high-speed voice and data services. Its flagship product is distributed exclusively by Scientific-Atlanta (SFA: news, chart, profile) in the United States and Canada.
