The build out in the industry may be slowed quite a bit here if things dont turn soon. I suspect this Summer will be a real factor.

How many plants come online;

Will manufacturing pick up?;

Will the weather help?

Can nuke & coal plants continue super high generation levels;

Will gas be cheap and plentifull?

Just because companies have orders for units or options does not mean that cant delay their installation.

I suspect we have a Summer or two before fundamentals improve and I suspect many will prepare accordingly.

Clement,

The one thing we need to focus on is as this sector becomes deregulated, it will go through cycles just as the energy industry has in the past.

It's a new ball game with a lot of players who don't have experience with over capacity in a free market place.

As a rule, the more capital intensive the industry and the longer the construction lags, the longer and deeper the cycle is (i.e. offshore drillers).

This is a changing environment, and there is a good chance we will have over capacity over the next year or two.

CPN has too much debt to be a survivor if we have a substantial downturn in the sector.
