Hi tippet. <somebody did a good job> FWIW, my view (as expressed here and on other threads many times) is the financial media is very persuasive and very much the captive of W.S. "sell side" interests. Amazed me how much better my performance became, some years ago, after I stopped watching all financial TV, stopped reading the popular financial magazines and newspapers to concentrate on my own work. Imperfect though it still may be, I began improving in large part from not being misled by the elite W.S./media combination that functions largely to fleece individual investors to further enrich the elite.
