With the demise of single channel RDRAM motherboards (i.e. the infamous Camino), there is now little reason to buy RDRAM in single quantities. Some of the vendors say this in their ad (by using the word "kit") or explicitly state this, while others do not, and you have to go to their web site to figure out whether they're talking about 2x128MB or 1x256MB. I'm winnowing the vendors who use the word "kit", but I'm not bothering to check the remainder for exactly what they're supplying. This is particularly annoying in the 512MB prices, where real 512MB parts are rare (in the lower prices).
