Japan has nothing to show for over ten years of fiscal "stimulus" and zero interest rates -- a bubble is a costly mistake. Those who blithely assume that the rate cuts and a pending pork bill in Congress will turn the economy around for sure do not show much appreciation of the mess left in the wake of an asset bubble -- just ask the millions people who have been added to the ranks of the unemployed in the wake of the bubble.
