Hi Cary! You are correct as far as the majority of the business goes for AMKR but the company also offers foundry services. The following is from the AMKR profile at Yahoo: The Company also markets wafer fabrication services provided by a foundry owned by Anam Semiconductor, Inc. Customers include Agere Systems, Inc., Altera Corporation, Infineon Technologies AG, Intel Corporation, LSI Logic Corporation and Motorola, Inc. Seems that they offer foundry services through Anam Semiconductor. They are not a dedicated foundry but 15% of their sales come from wafer fabrication. dailynews.yahoo.com I bow to your greater knowledge on STM unless someone else wants to disagree and say that the services STM offers customers like Agilent, Bosch, Nokia, Nortel Networks, and Sony include foundry services.
