dearest e.t. I view a person who had a public life and made choices. The choices that person made were stupid or dumb.
They may have been honest and noble.

Gorbies approach missed the fundamental truth of power and control in the Soviet Union. That says that the person did not understand the effects of his decisions. This not putting myself above them. I may have made the same dumb decisions had I been in that persons shoes. I can hope not.
But I did not claim that I could do any better. But you did think about what I did and did not say. You took what I said and with your way of thinking concluded I was saying that which I was not. That is at the heart of why I stated before I real very little useful information in any of your posts.

You stupidly assume that because I with 20 20 hindsight explain a scenario because of dumb decisions I am somehow claiming to be superior. I am making my objective analysis. Off course that fact that you proffer that to call someone dumb is to set yourself above them may reveal your own way of thinking about others. I'd call that stupid thinking.

It is much easier for you to go to attacking and insulting me than attempt to show why my analysis is faulty or suggest an alternative cause and effect.
