Louis, This post is general in nature eventhougth addressed to you and includes information from your post, i feel that it touches upon anyone's desire to invest into gold and silver mining companies without a visit to specific Silicon Investor's threads created for these companies. Also included here "not to visit" is the image of this GPM thread created to monitor the price of silver. Your post also included your words, as follows. "... I will have to check my other silvers, as silver lease and price rally have been attributed to ENE's short coverings." Whereas lease rates, price rally and short coverings will be included in posts here and the silver price monitor thread, there is a thread here on Silicon Investor with major focus on the nuts & bolts of press releases of companies of gold, silver, other precious metals and base metals. Currently gold & silver make up 95% of the postings, and to a very large degree exclude the type of discussions found here on this GPM thread as its very focused on individual companies without the bashing & hyping found on the individual company thread. Exceptions sometimes occur, for example for a few days the geo-political aspects of Africa for mining concerns short and long term were many. For sure that which you "double/triple check all available data" would be welcomed on-topic information on this thread as you just report facts that require the reader of such to use their own thinking to figure out its importance for usefulness, as in the case you mention of Enron being short silver. Also, i'm sure your Location: Ghent - Belgium would add greatly to a mostly USA/Canada view-point.
